An incredible memorial walkway with over 2000 plaques embedded into the footpath.

The Caloundra Headland Memorial Walkway was dedicated as a War Memorial on Remembrance Day 1995. The walkway extends from Kings Beach to Shelly Beach.

Along the walkway there are over 2000 plaques dedicated to the life and service of both military and civilian personnel that contributed to the defence of Australia.

This is a relatively easy walk, and wheelchair friendly with various places to pause and reflect on the sacrifice and commitment of those who served our great nation.

This it is part of the 96km Sunshine Coast Coastal Pathway that will eventually stretch from Pelican Waters in the south (Caloundra) to Tewantin in the north?
